TCB Jeans' 1890 No. 2 Jeans are a carefully crafted homage to 19th-century workwear, drawing inspiration from the classic 201s of the era. These jeans are made from No.2 denim, characterised by irregular, long-slub yarns that create a rich, vertical fade. Unlike TCB’s XX Denim, No.2 denim has a slightly rougher texture, reflecting the original coarser cotton and uneven yarn shape used over 130 years ago. Dyed with real indigo before synthetic dyes were adopted, the jeans feature a 'thick white ear' selvedge with an intriguing asymmetrical twill direction on the left and right edges. This detail adds to the authentic look and feel, capturing the handmade quality of vintage denim.

Meticulous vintage-inspired touches include a Hartshorn buckle modeled after the original 1855 design, a single pocket with a faded printed message on the left front, and a folded single-needle stitch known as the 'rainbow stitch.'
