Double Helix Classic 1930's Jacket - Black

 

This jacket from Japanese leather masters Double Helix is the Classic 1930's inspired by Leather "Sports Jacket" style jackets around the 1930's. The cut has been updated to a more form fitting modern cut. Jacket started to feature zippers instead of button front fastening around this period and the 1930's features a unique "gem" shaped zipper puller that hives it a vintage original feel. The insertion is also quite special as they have to drill holes in the leather to attached the zipper to the hem of the jacket.
Made from a premium 1.3mm Japanese vegetable tanned, tea core horsehide leather we love this take on a 1930's inspired jacket. The tea-core leather will start of as black and will contrast with brown as the jacket ages in high wear areas.
